Fishing at Andros Island
The island of Andros has a long tradition in coastal fishing and nowadays around 100 coastal fishermen with 60 boats are active on the island. They mainly fish with nets and long lines. The main ports for fishing boats are Gavrio, Batsi, Chora and Ormos Korthiou.
